October 2012 - Barn News

It’s done!! After many, many months in the making, the Wells Bridge Farm website is finally up and running.  This feat would not have been accomplished without the hard work and tireless efforts of Megan Keppler.  Her mother, Mary Keppler, is a professional photographer and took most of the beautiful photos that make the site so enjoyable.  Devon Bajoras and Targeted Web Solutions did the website design and set up.  Thank you all for your efforts!

The website can be accessed  at www.wellsbridgefarms.com.  We currently are registering it with the search engines so it may take a bit longer before it is available through a search on Google or Yahoo!.  Megan is currently working on a Facebook page for the barn so we will keep you updated as to when that will be available.

Fall Vaccination and Worming Clinic

Littleton Equine Medical Clinic will be holding a fall vaccination and worming clinic on Monday, October 8th .  A sign-up sheet is available in the lounge.  Please sign up to request appropriate services for your horse.  If you are not a client of LEMC, please arrange for your horse to receive these services from the veterinarian of your choice.

Joe Fargis Clinic

On December 8th and 9th *, Wells Bridge Farm will host a clinic with Olympic gold medalist and internationally renowned horseman, Joe Fargis. The cost for the clinic will be $500 per session.  Each session will run for approximately 2 hours and will be limited to 6 riders.  All participants must ride both days.  A sign-up sheet will be posted in the lounge by mid-October.  Clinic slots will be offered to clients of Wells Bridge Farm prior to being offered to other attendees.  This clinic will fill quickly!  Please sign up early so that we are able to accommodate everyone who would like to participate. (*NOTE:  December 8th and 9th is a date correction from the dates listed in the September newsletter.)

Congratulations to Kali Barnes on her outstanding performance at the Colorado Medal Finals in September.  Kali was Reserve Champion in the CHJA Junior Medal!  We also wish to congratulate Corky Shaha for winning the Langer Equestrian Group Trainer Incentive Award recognizing the high scoring trainer in the LEG Colorado series of horse shows.  A trip to Hawaii in mid-December is the highlight of the award!  Congratulations also to Paul Rohrbach for his receipt of the inaugural “Setting the Standard” award given by the Langer Equestrian Group in memory of fellow professional rider Keiri Kaneps.

Construction News

The indoor arena has received a new roof and the main barn roof will be completed within the next two weeks.  Thank you for your patience as we worked to complete the necessary repairs.  Although there will some additional work to be done on the main over the next few weeks, the impact of this work should be minimal.  If you have any questions or concerns during this time, please contact Dorothy at (303)902-3985 so that they can be addressed in a timely manner.

Tack Trunk Covers

If you plan to show with Wells Bridge Farm in the 2012-2013 show season, we ask that you purchase a tack trunk cover in the barn colors.  We are preparing another order through Foxcreek MEO and will receive a discount for covers ordered together.  Please contact Dorothy if you would like to place an order.

Barn Jackets and Apparel

Jackets, polo shirts, vests, caps, and more!  If you would like to place order, please use an order form located in the lounge.  Orders are typically filled within one to two weeks of being received.
